Events 2021
With an aim of building students’ communication and analytical skills, DMS organized an online debate competition, “War of Words”, for students of business and management courses at DME & DTC. The event allowed students to display their debating prowess and sharpen their minds by contemplating over the burning issues of the day.
Round 1 was conducted on 11th March 2021 and 16 students participated in the same. External judges for Round 1 were Mrs. Preeti Goel, Principal, Sun Valley International School, Mrs. Alka Mathur, Principal, Sneh International School and Mr. Kanwaljeet Khungar, Principal, Bharat National Public School.
The final round was conducted on 18th March 2021 and 7 finalists presented their stand. External judge for the final round was Dr. Ranchay Bhateja, Professor, KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad. The students showed great enthusiasm in their arguments and the judges appreciated their efforts and tips for further improvement. Based on the judges’ evaluation, 1st place was earned by Ms. Anjali Rawat, 2nd place went to Ms. Fabeha Fatima Naqvi and 3rd position was secured by Ms. Riya Rao. The department hopes to bring more such opportunities for management students so that DME can continue its climb towards being a top BBA college in Noida.

“Play to Win, but enjoy the Fun”
BRAINVITA by DME Management School
The transition from traditional classrooms to online teaching on virtual platforms has opened up a plethora of opportunities for the entire academic fraternity. Keeping in mind the interests of students beyond academics and curriculum, DME Management school organized first of its own kind Two Day Virtual Online quiz activity, BRAINVITA. The online competition comprised of many creative games and fun activities for BBA 2 year and 3 year students. Barinvita was conducted using Zoom meetings on August 10 and August 11, 2020. Day 1 was the elimination round “BRAND RECALL…LOOK, SEARCH and REPORT wherein students were given a challenge to identify maximum number of bands hidden in an image displayed for a maximum of ten seconds. The challenge was to fill the brands recalled in the Google form valid for only two minutes. Top 20 participants were shortlisted on basis of maximum responses in minimum time with correct spellings of brands. The twenty participants were divided into teams 10 teams of 2 each for Round 2 on August 11, 2020. Round 2 was conducted in two stages. Stage 1 was the PICTIONARY round wherein a team member was privately given a word related to management, commerce and economics which she/he had to draw on Zoom Whiteboard to let his partner guess from the image drawn in maximum of two minutes time. Tremendous creativity and out of the box skills were shown by the students with exemplary teamwork. The top 4 teams after stage 1 played stage 2 “GUESS THE BRAND FROM THE EMOJIS”. Emoticons were displayed by the host and the participants were required to guess the brand. The one who raised the hand first was given a chance to answer. Throughout the competition the energy levels, enthusiasm and interests of participants and faculty members was commendable. The finals results were as follows:
- First position: Yachi Jain 2 Year Section B2
- Second Position: Akshita Bhardwaj 2 Year Section A1
- Third position: Saransh Gupta 2 Year Section B2
The winners were awarded with Amazon Gift vouchers worth Rs. 1500, 1000 and 500 each for first, second third positions respectively. The event was organized and managed by the team of Ms. Shanu Jain, Ms. Pooja Tripathi ,Ms. Parul Grover ( Faculty members, DME Management School) and Ayush Dube (Student volunteer, BBA 2 Year) with incessant support and guidance of Prof.(Dr.) Poorva Ranjan, Head, DME Management School.
The event concluded with the words of encouragement and blessings from Prof. Ravi Kant Swami, Director, DME who graced the event with his valuable presence and Prof. (Dr.) Poorva Ranjan who motivated students to show the same spirit of participation and teamwork for all the upcoming events.

If you are a chef, no matter how good a chef you are, its not good cooking for yourself; the joy is in cooking for others.
Students of DME management school, donned their ‘chef cap’ to exhibit their culinary skill in cooking without fire competition held on January 28, 2020 at DME college 4th floor. 60 teams participated in the competition with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious yet delectable delicious dish in the time limit of 60 minutes.Artefacts and food items displayed were a visual treat and were presented in an artistic and aesthetic style. cooking is an expression that crosses all boundaries, taking this into consideration ,top 18 dish were selected by a panel of non-teaching jury , Rimsi ma’am, Tulika ma’am, Richa ma’am, Pallavi ma’am, Tushar sir, Pawan sir and vijayan sir. The selected dish were then judged on the parameter of taste , innovation , presentation and hygiene by esteemed judges, Director general DR. Ravikant Swami sir and prof. Bhavish Gupta, head of academic DME law school. They interacted with the budding chefs to find out the ingredients of the recipes, nutritional value and the significance of dish prepared by them. “The student demonstrated their ability to not only produce amazing food but brought passion and fun in the kitchen” said DR. Ravikant swami sir. Judges were overawed by the effort of participants and results were announced amidst tough competition. The first position was secured by team no. 27( Harshita Chopra, Mohak Khanna and mehak jain), closely followed by team no. 51(Ayushi, Akshat Kandye and manas) and 58(Mohak verma and siddharth) who bagged the second position. The third position was shared by team no. 6( simmi, aashika and Rahul) and team no. 8(Aditi, Surbhi and Maahi). Consolation reward were also given to team no. 55( shagun, Shubham and Lavaney) and team no.30(Ipshita and Aman) who showed some extra ordinary skills.
There is no spectacle on earth more appealing than that of a student in the act of cooking for their guru’s. The event not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest. The credit for the success of the event no doubt goes to all the participants and winner who showed tremendous amount of creativity and enthusiasm. Special thanks to Ms. Shanu jain ma,am and Mr. swaraj manchanda sir our faculty coordinators, and Ayush dube and Deepakshi Mehta, our student coordination for their effort . Cooking for people is a way of loving them. It not only bring nourishment to the body but to our spirits as well.
Management Unleashed 2019: Sustainable Development
On 12th September, 2019 DME Management School organised Management Unleashed Event for BBA Students. The event was open for participation of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students. It was a fun-filled occasion with Pot Decoration and Collage Making as two main activities. The aim of the event was to propagate the idea of Sustainable Development
The event started around 11:30 am a time duration 1 hour was provided for both the activities after which the students were requested to present their projects before the honourable judges. The event witnessed huge participation with more than 250 students enthusiastically participating in both events.. All the Faculty and the students were present throughout the event.
For Collage making Activity, Ms ShanuJain (Assistant Professor) and Ms. Roli Wadhwa(Assistant Professor) were event coordinators .Students were given topics on the spot where they were required to make a Collage on the topic of their choice. The topics were “Reduce,Reuse,Recycle” , “Save earth” and “Sustainable agriculture” and “Prevention and protection from pollution”.
The 1st prize winners of collage making were Ms. Riya Rao, Ms. Manushi Nautiyal and Ms. Pranti Pal, BBA 1st Year Students.
Ms Laxmi Rajput (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Pooja Sharma (Assistant Professor) were event coordinators for Pot Decoration Activity. The themes for Pot decoration activity were “Nature”, “Floral and Petals” and “Reviving legacy of India”.
1st prize winners for Pot Decoration were –Mr.AkshayKanday and Ms. Ayushi Ahuja BBA 2nd Year Students.
The judges threw some interesting questions towards the students while they were presenting their collages. It was a healthy and informative session .Then the students who participated in pot Decoration event presented their pots. Soon after this, the winners were announced.
Head Of Department Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Kant Swami along Prof. (Dr.) Bhavish Gupta encouraged, acknowledged and felicitated the winners with certificates. The event culminated with concluding remarks by Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Kant Swami.
