INTRA COLLEGE DE-ADDICTION QUIZ

ABOUT THE EVENT:

INTRA COLLEGE DE-ADDICTION QUIZ which was held on 29th and 30th MARCH was our first event which was successfully conducted under the expert guidance of Ms Navjot Suri, Assistant Professor Law.

This quiz event was conducted as a part of De-Addiction campaign which was launched by the Ethiccraft Club on 15th of Feb this year. The Ethiccraft Club was officially launched by the Hon’ble HRD Minister of India, Shri Prakash Javedkar on 14th October, 2018  in a Mega Youth Festival known as UDGAAR – An Expression of Goodness & Joy in which over 8000 students participated from all across India. This Ethiccraft Club aims to work for making the youth thoughtful towards importance of values in day to day life and subsequently train and inspire them to become perfect leader in the society by inculcating values, so that they can create a better India and become an asset to the nation.

Understanding the urgency of anti-addiction in order to help the country become addiction free, Ethiccraft Club launched its anti-addiction campaign in the month of February. In an attempt to connect the new students with the campaign, Ethiccraft Club conducted this campaign all across Delhi-NCR and successfully conducted Intra College Quiz in around 200 colleges

Under this INTRA COLLEGE QUIZ the question were asked from a book entitled as Weed Out

This book covers up the real story of three young individuals and presents how these individuals came in touch with the menace of addiction and as a result of which these people faced many ill consequences. Importantly it also tells out many crucial principles which helped them to came out of it. This quiz was conducted in online mode and comprised of 50 questions in MCQ format carrying weightage of maximum 50 Marks of Time Duration 30 minutes

Interestingly This Quiz offered Cool & Attractive prizes for the Top 3 Scorers from each college.

2nd Prize – X-jock Lap Bag Backpack
3rd  Prize – Mi Bluetooth Speaker

Role of Campus Ambassador

Campus Ambassador

As part of spreading its youths outreach, Ethiccraft Club wishes to create campus ambassadors for the colleges. The Value Education Ambassadors is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Ethiccraft Club in college. Value Education Ambassadors serve as a club representative inside the College and is expected to lead and perform duties at various campus and community events of the institution.

This leadership role was taken by me for my own intellectual and skillset growth

  • Represent and lead the Club during college events.
  • Head the meetings of the club members inside the college.
  • Inspire the club members in the college for leadership roles.
  • Prepare activities chart of the club for the college.
  • Take initiative for conducting various events inside the college.

ABOUT THE PARTICIPATION & SCORES:

Nearly 100 Students enrolled themselves for this quiz and out which 60 students appeared for the quiz and the Top 3 Scorers were

1st Position Shristhi Ahuja,  4th Year BA LLB Securing 36 Marks
2nd Position Shahbaz Khan, 2nd Year BBA LLB Scored 30.5 Marks
3rd Position Shreya Bhatnagar, 1st Year BA LLB Scored 29.5 Marks

HOW IS IT HELPFUL FOR THE YOUTH?

This campaign helped them to create, preserve and promote the Value Awareness among youth through a systematic program at various levels in the society which will eventually result into holistic growth heralding a constructive transformation of the hearts in order to ensure sustainable peace and happiness all over the world.

Prize Distribution Ceremony:

This Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized on 30th March at ISKCON Auditorium New Delhi and it was happily attended from participants Students all across Delhi/NCR and specifically the top 3 Scorers from each college were honoured by Certificates and Prizes. Furthermore this ceremony was being followed by series of fun filled events such as Drama, Motivational talks and sumptuous lunch. Moreover the esteemed chief guest for this ceremony were:

I personally learnt how to manage an event and tried my level best for making this event a fruitful endeavour and keeping that in mind everything was well managed and thus a happy and a satisfying ending.

2) The another most important person who helped in grooming the event was my expert guide, Ms. Navjot Suri, Assistant Professor Law.

The event was not at all possible without her guidance. She was there for me at every point of time and helped me in taking the best decision.

She co-ordinated with every department and helped in wise management of the event.

She worked with her whole heart and made this event successful. 

AFTER EVENT:

Since the event has been so successful, there are many students who are coming forward to be a part of Ethiccraft Club & Aspiring to conduct more such kinds of event which will lead to youth empowerment with proper wisdom No regrets are there. We all are looking forward to conduct this kind of more events in future very soon.

Last but not the least I sincerely thank our college DELHI METROPOLITAN EDUCATION, It was not at all possible without the college support.
